Do I need to sign a waiver before my stay?
Yes, all guests over the age of 18 are required to complete a Liability Waiver Form before arrival and for those under the age of 18. It is crucial for your protection and to ensure you are aware of the natural risks associated with our amenities. This form must be completed prior to your arrival to avoid any delays in your check-in process or, in extreme cases, cancellation of your booking with no refunds.

Are pets allowed at the tiny home?
Yes, we are pet-friendly! However, please note that each booking can accommodate only one pet due to the size limitations of our tiny home. An additional fee of $30 will apply to each pet visiting our tiny home.

Where can I park my vehicle during my stay?
Free parking is available on the property. You may park your vehicle in front of the tiny home.

Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, we now offer WIFI!

Is there good cell phone reception at the tiny home?
Depending on your service provider, cell phone reception is limited. Telus customers may experience limited or no service, while Rogers customers should have service. The compatibility with other providers is not confirmed, so it's best to prepare for limited connectivity.

Is the tiny home suitable for young children or those with mobility issues?
The loft areas in our tiny home are not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to our liability policy for safety and well-being. We want to be an inclusive environment but also want to make it clear about expectations.

I want to stay at the tiny home but I am not comfortable sleeping in the lofts.
If you're not comfortable sleeping in the lofts, we've got you covered. Although our tiny home features two lofts, you have the option to sleep on a sofa that easily converts into a double-sized bed. This ensures that all our guests can enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in a way that suits them best.

How private is the tiny home?
While, at times, there may be other guests in nearby bunkies within the 40-acre forest, your tiny home lot provides exclusive access to your booking, including the hot tub and sauna, ensuring privacy.

ARRIVAL AND STAY

What should I remember to bring for my stay?
In addition to personal toiletries and clothing, remember to bring bug spray, firewood, kindling, firestarters (as these are not supplied), bottled water for drinking, and any sugar, milk, or cream for your tea since we only provide tea and coffee for our machine. We strongly recommend NOT drinking the tap water.

How much firewood should I bring?
For two guests, we recommend that you bring at least four standard bundles of firewood for both the sauna and the hot tub, per night. Please note that during the summer months, the water in the hot tub is usually already warm. In the winter, however, it tends to be much colder, so more firewood may be necessary to heat the hot tub effectively.

Where can I buy firewood?
We offer firewood through a 3rd party supplier on site. The prices are $8 a bag or 3 for $20 and will be delivered for your stay. You will be invoiced within 24 hours after checkout. If you don’t want to buy firewood from us, most gas stations and homes along the side of the road typically have firewood available for sale.

Where can I purchase kindling and firestarters?
You can purchase kindling and fire starters from a variety of places. Stores like Canadian Tire typically carry kindling. If you prefer to buy online, Amazon is a good option. Dollar stores usually have these items as well. Please note these may be summer seasonal items, so it's best to do your research and call the stores ahead of time to ensure they have them in stock.

What is the check-in time and process?
Check-in is from 4PM-9:00 PM. We strongly recommend arriving before dark and/or during sunset for ease of navigation around the property. Specific instructions, including the door code, will be provided on your arrival day.

Are there any noise regulations?
Yes, to ensure all our guests enjoy their stay in peace, we observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be considerate and keep noise to a minimum during these hours. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in being asked to leave the property with no refunds.

UTILITIES AND AMENITIES

How do I use the wood-burning hot tub and sauna?
Instructions are detailed in the Welcome Booklet folder that will be shared with you closer to check in. Please ensure you understand these instructions to safely enjoy these amenities.

Does the hot tub operate year-round?
The hot tub is operational all year round weather permitting. In extreme cases, we may have to shut down the hot tub during cold temperatures, but we will do our best to ensure this doesn't happen and at least communicate this to you well in advance.

Does the cold plunge bucket operate year round?
The cold plunge bucket will be shutdown from November 13, 2025 until Spring 2026, or, anytime the temperatures goes to below 0. If we are able to have it operational for your stay we will do our best to offer it however, expect not to use it if you book during these dates.

Does the sauna operate year-round?
Yes, the sauna operates year round!

Can we have a bonfire?
Yes, an outdoor fire-pit is provided for your enjoyment. Please only use it if weather conditions are safe, and always supervise any fire.

What is the check-in and check-out process?
Check-in details, including how to access the tiny home, will be provided one day prior to arrival and on the day of checkin. Check-out instructions will be shared prior to check out.

What should I bring for the sauna and hot tub?
Please bring fire starter logs, kindling, and firewood (if not purchasing firewood from us). Remember, heating up the sauna and hot tub requires time and patience. The hot tub may contain leaves or bugs, as it's located in a forest, and the water may be discolored due to cedar wood releasing tannins.

Is smoking allowed on the property?
Smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the tiny home and the sauna/hot tub area to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all guests. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only. Any guests that smoke on the property will be subjected to pay a cleaning fee of $500.

What is the power supply situation?
Our tiny home operates with a limited power supply, meaning electrical appliances may not be as efficient as at home. Guests are asked to be conservative with their power usage. In case of a power outage or an act of God, a backup generator is available.

What activities are available nearby?
Our location offers plenty to explore, including hiking, biking on nearby trails, visiting local beaches (Port Dover, Turkey Point, Long Point), or simply enjoying the tranquility of the forest. Check out our welcome booklet for more information on things to do! We will provide this welcome booklet a few days prior to check in.

Do you provide robes for the hot tub and sauna?
Yes, all guests are supplied with luxurious 100% cotton robes for use during their stay, perfect for lounging and transitions between the hot tub and sauna. Please note robes are for on-site use only and not to be taken as souvenirs.

Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, fresh bed linens and towels are provided for the duration of your stay. We recommend bringing extra towels for use with the hot tub and sauna.

Can I cook inside the tiny home?
Indoor stove top cooking is currently not permitted due to low power voltage. However, a barbecue with propane and a side burner for outdoor cooking is provided. An outdoor fire-pit is also available for your use.

What amenities are included in my stay?
The tiny home is equipped with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, toilet, vanity, a wood-burning sauna, a hot tub, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. We provide basic cooking utensils, bedding, bath towels and robes for guests.
